Therapists have always been concerned about devising treatment for the women who feel pain during the sexual intercourse. It is a manual physical therapy that gives a feeling like a deep massage. The “Wurn Technique” claims to reduce or eliminate the intercourse pain in up to 96% of the women.

Belinda Wurn is a physical therapist practices at Clear Passage Therapies in Gainesville. She and her husband discovered a massage technique to treat the female infertility which could emerge as an alternative technique for female infertility.

The interesting fact is that the therapists discovered the technique by accident. They observed that the infertile women who were being treated for low back and pelvic pain were suddenly found conceiving.

The massage was found specially devised for women who had adhesions in their reproductive tract. According to Belinda Wurn, these adhesions can occur anywhere in the Reproductive tract and cause decrease in sensation, resulting in pain.

Wurn therapy helps in freeing the tissues from this glue like constraints, restoring normal function and allowing women to return to a healthy sex life.

Wurn says the therapy costs about $4,200 for 20 hours of treatment. She says it has a 70 percent success rate for treating blocked tubes and a nearly 70 percent success rate for women who get treatment before in-vitro fertilization.

This therapy has been found to be especially useful in the conditions for the candidates undergoing Abdominal or pelvic surgery, Back or hip surgery, facing frequent abortions, suffering from Vaginitis, cystitis, colitis, Appendicitis, gastritis or any other abdominal or pelvic inflammations.
