Jennifer Ventrelle, a dietitian from Rush University Medical Center, says: “If you restrict yourself to some unachievable diet plans during holidays, it means you are setting yourself for personal torture. You definitely need something achievable when it’s about losing weight during holidays.”
You can’t deny the role of eating in holiday parties and fun, according to Ventrelle, you must not hungry in such parties and take at least one healthy snack, an apple or yogurt to avoid overeating in these parties.
She further says that these small, low-calorie meals can also help you to counterbalance the load of calories during parties. Don’t fill your plate with different high-caloric foods, but choose such foods as are healthy and delicious too. It is much better if you don’t choose a big plate for yourself.
If you are hosting some party or taking some dish to some party, make it healthy with vegetables and different fresh fruit.
