Diabetes’s Problems Doesn’t Get Solved by Intensive Treatment: Study Revealed
A federal study to see the whether the intensive lowering blood sugar and blood pressure would reduce heart attacks and strokes in Diabetes was started a decades ago and it was sub-divided into three stages, the results now shown are really disappointing one.
The first part o that study was started on the blood sugar but it was stopped
after some time because the researchers experience more instead of less risks with the approach. Now while talking about the other parts of the research, some medical experts including Dr. Clyde Yancy, a Baylor University cardiologist and president of the American Heart Association said that “What should diabetics do? Focus on healthy diets and lifestyles, and take tried-and-true medicines that doctors recommend now to control health risks.
The study is actually presented in the American College of Cardiology conference and the results showed that even the intense treatment for Diabetes can’t reduce the number of heart attacks in the patients though it prevented more strokes which is not the big problem with most of the patients. The experts also suggested that even after seeing the results o this study patients should not leave their medicines without checking with their doctors first.
