Researchers say that there is no link between high C-Section rates and healthier new born babies. The study published in Journal of Maternal –Fetal and Neonatal Medicine shows that Cesarean Section delivery may not lead to healthy new born.

J. Christopher Glantz MPH a Professor of Maternal-Fetal Medicine says that the high or low induction rate of labor and high or low rates of C-Section does not seem to effect the health of the baby, if the health of the baby is not improved then one should try for the lower rates of c-section.

Glantz studied the labor induction rate and the C-Section delivery rates in 10 hospitals in Finger Lakes area of New York between 2004 and 2008. The study showed that these rates significantly vary and it had no effect on the health of newborns.

Menstruation

Menstruation is a monthly bleeding that women have. It is also known as menses, menstrual cycle or periods.

Menstrual blood is combination of blood and tissues from the uterus of women. This blood flows from the uterus to the cervix and then it comes out of the body through vagina. The menstrual periods last from three to seven days maximum.

Menopause

Menopause is the point when women stop having menstrual periods. Menopause is not a disease. It is just a change in the phases of women’s life.  Many women experience symptoms of menopause. Menopause decreases the bone density and the raises the cholesterol level in the body which may cause heart diseases.

  • Premature menopause

The average age for menopause is 51 years. The common age at which women experience menopause ranges between 48- 55 years. If a woman get menopause younger than the age of 40 years, this is known as premature menopause. And it is considered as late menopause if the menstrual periods continuous up till the age of 55 years.

Bladder Cancer

Bladder cancer is the development of cancerous tissue as a balloon shaped organ in the pelvic area or in the urinary bladders where the urine is stored.

The cancer occurs when there is a trigger in the cells that are lining the inside of the urinary bladder.

As age being no barrier, the cancer is diagnosable and treatable at an early stage itself. However, the possibility of the recurrence of this cancer is quite high with and will require regular follow-ups and checkups to keep the recurrent cancerous tissues at bay.
