Acquisition of Danger, Inc. completed

Microsoft Corp. has announced that its acquisition of Danger, Inc. has been completed. Danger, Inc is a developer of instinctive consumer software for cell- phone joined to commanding hosted back-end services, promotes pleasant customer experiences in communication, media allocation, recreation and personalization. The duo strength of Microsoft and Danger Inc will enhance the company’s facility to give new cell-phone experiences to more clients.

Danger, Inc will turn into a part of the new Premium Mobile experiences (PMX) team, a group of companies in the Mobile Communications Business (MCB) of the Recreation and Devices Division at Microsoft.

Microsoft also appreciated Danger’s technology with its announcement of the completion of the acquisition. Danger’s consumer software together with hosted back-end services gives rich customer experiences and together with Microsoft it will further help to create new mobile experiences for the customers, Microsoft Stated.

Workforce at Danger, together with other founders likeMatt Hershenson and Joe Britt, will unite Microsoft in a new group, the Premium Mobile Experiences team, along with the Mobile Communications Business. Danger’s staff will carry on working from their existing offices, which are in California; Palo Alto, Georgia, Billerica, Duluth, Massachusetts.

According to Microsoft, the Premium Mobile Experiences group will concentrate on consumer mobile proposals. After Windows Mobile has recognized repute as software mainly for business users, the company has now started concentrating more on mobile services for the consumers.

Microsoft could better compete with other trendy new consumer cell-phone offerings by using Danger’s consumer software. It will also assist Microsoft’s fend off contest from Google’s yet to come Android mobile-phone software. Andy Rubin, who was one of Danger’s founders, afterward left the company to join Android, a company that Google purchased and operated to build up its own Android software.
