The number of children who are getting regular access to the Internet has been rapidly and steadily rising. The Internet Protection Act for Children

There is no doubt that there are too many Internet sites that are specifically designed and intended for children. However, there are also so many sites that should not, ever, be accessed by children. But because the Internet is an information hub that caters to almost anyone with an Internet connection, the US Congress in 2000 enacted a federal legislation that provides protection from access to adult materials within Internet in school and in public and private libraries.

Children’s Internet Protection Act makes sure kids would be safeguarded against inappropriate Internet content especially when they are accessing online media through school and libraries. Parents now are feeling safe and secured.
